چکیده
In this paper, by equivalently reformulating the absolute value equation (AVE) into an alternative two-by-two block nonlinear equation, we put forward SOR-like (ASOR-like) iteration method to solve AVE. The convergence of ASOR-like is established, subjecting specific restrictions placed on associated parameter. selection optimal parameter investigated theoretically. Numerical experiments are given validate feasibility and effectiveness method.

Two Cscs-based Iteration Methods for Solving Absolute Value Equations∗
Recently, two families of HSS-based iteration methods are constructed for solving the system of absolute value equations (AVEs), which is a class of non-differentiable NP-hard problems. In this study, we establish the Picard-CSCS iteration method and the nonlinear CSCS-like iteration method for AVEs involving the Toeplitz matrix. Then, we analyze the convergence of the Picard-CSCS iteration met...
متن کاملThe Picard-HSS iteration method for absolute value equations
Recently Bai and Yang in [On HSS-based iteration methods for weakly nonlinear systems, Appl. Numer. Math. 59 (2009) 2923–2936.] proposed the Picard-HSS iteration method to solve the system of nonlinear equations Ax = φ(x), where A ∈ Cn×n is a nonHermitian positive definite matrix and φ : D ⊂ C → C is continuously differentiable function defined on the open complex domain D in the n-dimensional ...
متن کاملA new Levenberg-Marquardt approach based on Conjugate gradient structure for solving absolute value equations
In this paper, we present a new approach for solving absolute value equation (AVE) whichuse Levenberg-Marquardt method with conjugate subgradient structure. In conjugate subgradientmethods the new direction obtain by combining steepest descent direction and the previous di-rection which may not lead to good numerical results. Therefore, we replace the steepest descentdir...
متن کاملVariational Iteration Method for Solving Telegraph Equations
In this paper, we apply the variational iteration method (VIM) for solving telegraph equations, which arise in the propagation of electrical signals along a telegraph line. The suggested algorithm is more efficient and easier to handle as compare to the decomposition method. Numerical results show the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed VIM.
متن کاملTHE USE OF THE HE'S ITERATION METHOD FOR SOLVING NONLINEAR EQUATIONS USING CADNA LIBRARY
In this paper, we apply the Newton’s and He’s iteration formulas in order to solve the nonlinear algebraic equations. In this case, we use the stochastic arithmetic and the CESTAC method to validate the results. We show that the He’s iteration formula is more reliable than the Newton’s iteration formula by using the CADNA library.
